Enyinnaya Akagha

Treasurer

Enyinnaya Akagha is the Treasurer of the Bank. He has over 18 years work experience in the banking industry of which 15 years has been in various Treasury roles.

Enyinnaya at various times has also handled roles in Operations, Structured Funding and Agriculture. Prior to joining ProvidusBank as Treasurer, he was Head, Structured Funding and Agric, Structured Finance Department (Skye Bank), Head, Power and Infrastructure, Structured Finance Department (Skye Bank), Deputy Treasurer and Head, Liquidity and Balance sheet Management (Mainstreet Bank), Head, Group Trading and Sales, Treasury Division (Keystone Bank), Chief Dealer (First Inland Bank) and Head, Foreign Currency Dealing (National Bank).

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Soil Science and Agricultural Mechanization from the University of Agriculture, Abeokuta and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the prestigious Imperial College, London. Enyinnaya is also an Alumnus of the Lagos Business School, a Fellow of the Financial Market Dealers Association (FMDA), a certified e-Technologist and a member of ACI Financial Market Association.

Enyinnaya is a self-motivated and talented individual with a passion to develop and trade specialized products across Treasury Market space in domestic and international markets. He has also served on Financial Markets Dealers Association Working Group. Enyinnaya enjoys reading, playing squash, swimming and traveling.
