Rita Amene holds a B.Sc. Accountancy degree from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, following it up with an MBA (Business Management) from the University of Lagos.

She has over 20 years of banking experience, having worked in Equity Bank Nigeria Limited and Zenith Bank, where she gained a wealth of experience in Commercial Banking, Branch Management supervision, Business Development and Financial Advisory Services.

She also achieved high monthly profit levels year on year and succeeded in growing the liability base and risk assets while she was the Group Zonal Head at Zenith Bank. She has attended many courses locally and internationally, including Attitudinal Transformational Leadership Development by Leadership Paradigm Consultants and Strategic Thinking and Management at the prestigious Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania, USA.

Her track record of winning is driven by creativity, excellent customer service delivery and key relationship management. She has interests in leadership training and mentoring, charitable pursuits, reading and international relations.
