Olufunke Jones holds a B.Sc. in Zoology from the University of Lagos and a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from the Business School of Netherlands (BSN). She is also an alumnus of the International Academy of Retail Banking (IARB).


With a proven track record of over 25 years in the banking industry, she has developed strong financial acumen and gained extensive experience across key areas, including Structured Trade Finance, Corporate Banking, and Project Risk Management, establishing a strong credibility and industry expertise foundation.


She has successfully completed the Women in Leadership training at the London Business School (LBS) to advance her insight on transformation and growth in view of the huge impact of Women's leadership on the future of our society and economies.


Olufunke is passionate about collaborative leadership in healthcare, which has led her to complete another master’s degree in healthcare management (MHM) at the American Intercontinental University (AIU) Illinois, U.S.A., where she has acquired the knowledge and skills necessary for effective healthcare leadership and management.


Her strategic focus in healthcare sector development includes balancing the professional interplay of financial responsibilities, strategic innovation, and process improvement to harness the opportunities within the healthcare industry largely driven by collaborative leadership. She is a member of the Women in Healthcare Network (WIHCN). Her healthcare advocacy emphasizes sector development through private sector investment, aimed at creating value across the healthcare value chain, enhancing talent retention, and reducing medical tourism in her country.


She is a strong advocate for women's economic development, focusing on empowering women through advisory on strategic financing plans, capacity building, access to resources and promotion of active participation in the economic sphere.


She is currently the Divisional Head of Corporate Banking at ProvidusBank.
